Welcome to the City of Luna Bay Sheriff’s Department’s Web site. This agency proudly serves some 30,000 local residents and many more visitors every day. All of our members are committed to providing quality municipal law enforcement services to our residents, businesses, and visitors.

Our mission is to ensure that the City of Luna Bay is a place where all people can live safely and without fear.

When the city of Luna Bay was young, there was need for only one office to keep the peace among the seagulls and visiting surfers. As the city grew, our department matured along with it.

Our first, Sheriff Morgan, back in 1887 used to take care of Luna Bay as well as other nearby municipalities including Santa Carla and its burgeoning tourist industry. Now, Sheriff McGraw and his exceptionally adept team keep Luna Bay safe night and day. Many tourists have discovered our beautiful chunk of California coastline and we are here to protect all residents as well as those on much needed vacations.
